WALKFEST IS:
A fun-filled day outside in the fresh air for friends, family, and community organizations.
An easy way to raise funds for your Rotary Clubs and not-for-profit community organizations.
Promotes community involvement.
MISSION OF WALKFEST
FIRST: To support the Rotary Foundation that enables Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. The Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation supported by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world.
SECOND: to provide not-for-profit community organizations an opportunity to jointly raise funds for specific/identified needs within our local communities.
This year the WALKFEST event will support and honor the Family & Friends For Freedom Fund Inc., specifically for injured U.S. Military members and their families in New Jersey.
