WALKERS WANTED!
It is not too late to join the district's healthiest and most enjoyable fundraiser. What am I referring too? None other than The 16th WalkFest 2010, sponsored by Rotary District 7470 - Sunday, April 25th, 2010.
The walk is an easy way to raise funds for all of your club and community needs. We will do all the work, all you have to do is get the pledges! For each $ that a club or non profit group raises they receive back 50%. The Rotary club will receive Foundation credits for the other 50%. For each outside non profit organization 50% of the pledges raised will be sent to that organization and 50% goes to The Rotary Foundation in the name of the club or Rotarian who recruited that group.
What outside groups can participate - School Groups, Sports Groups, Church Groups, Womans' Clubs, PTA's,
PTO's, just to name a few who have partcipated in the past.
What else, you may ask?
